About Me

I am an up and coming historian with expertise in military and diplomatic history, with a primary focus on the British Empire in Sub-Saharan Africa. I graduated with my B.A. (Hons.) in History at Memorial University of Newfoundland in June, 2017. My thesis, which I completed under the supervision of Dr. Justin Fantauzzo, focused on British Officer views of suffering and isolation in German East Africa during the First World War. I initiate my M.A. in History at the University of Calgary in September 2017 under the interim supervision of professor Timothy Stapleton.

I work part-time as a copywriter and a digital media consultant conjoint with my academic work.
