By default, when you publish each page of your ePortfolio, it becomes publicly available on the internet. If you wish to keep some or all your ePortfolio private and only share it with select individuals, you need to protect each page with a password. You can choose a different password for each page or have the same password for all pages. If you choose a single password for all pages, your viewer(s) will only have to enter it once to access all pages. To protect a page with a password:
- Go to the dashboard for your ePortfolio.
- In the menu on the left, go to ‘Pages’ and select ‘All Pages’.
- Select the page you want to protect with a password, for example the ‘Home’ page.
- On the right, find the Status field and click ‘Published’.
- In the pop-up window, select Password protected and generate a password you will later share with the viewers of your ePortfolio. Save the page.
- Repeat steps 1 to 5 with every page you want to protect.
