CS Fall 2017 Week 3 – IF Function/Conditional Formatting (Excel)

This challenge was created by Erin Couch!

An important aspect to understand in Microsoft Excel is the Count IF function. Count IF can be useful for a variety of reasons, such as sorting through large datasets and separating information of importance. For example, a business may require a list of all customers who live in the St. John’s area. The following tutorial will walk you through the basics of the Count IF function as well as conditional formatting in the later part.

You will need to create your own table full of data. Include at least 5 different columns and 15 different rows for this challenge. Feel free to take inspiration from Erin’s tutorial.

Tutorial is attached!

The deadline for full points is Tuesday, October 10th, 10:30am
