For those who are new here, Learning Day is our annual staff training session that usually happens during the first week of September. We always want you to find the session as engaging and informative as possible, so I’d like everyone to come up with one topic they’d like to see covered. If you have a great idea for an engaging activity, please feel free to share that, too!
The deadline for points is Tuesday, July 11, at 10:30AM.
One thing that can be included in the training is a tutorial on how to manually operate the different printers and scanners (should it ever be needed) and specially the plotter. These hardware are set up so that the staff don’t need to “tweak” any of the native settings, under normal circumstances. But knowing how to troubleshoot an issue with these machines, using the internal settings might be something helpful in Fall.
Being new here at The Commons and MUN, I can’t fully comprehend how crazy it will get in Fall. But from what I’ve heard, Fall is the time for new and unforeseen issues.
